With the release of the first CD in 1995, simultaneously in Europe and USA, Spaceheads undertook a five week tour around Europe followed by a nine week tour around the USA.

With contacts from friends (primarily the ex and dog faced hermans) and people they met from touring Europe with The Honkies – Spaceheads played in rock clubs, jazz venues, raves, centro socio culturales and squats around Europe mainly staying on peoples floors.

The nine week tour of the USA was a similar mix of venues along with house parties. You can read about the tour here………
This tour was documented on the CD “Round the Outside” and along with friends in New York (Letha Rodman and Suki Hawley) They made a video of one of the songs that was featured a lot on the tour “shoot the boss”

The video was featured on MTV “party zone” and “alternative nation” during 1997 and helped promote the “Round the outside” CD to a larger audience. Watch Spaceheads in Szeged Hungary during a 1997 European tour

Dark Beloved Cloud re-released all the old Spaceheads vinyl and cassettes on the “Ho fat Wallet” CD

Spaceheads went back to the USA in 1998 and played at the Terrastock festival in San Francisco.

Spaceheads attracted a lot of press that year such as this interview in Magnet magazine USA in May 1998

In 1999 Spaceheads linked up with Merge Records in the USA and Pandemonium records in France to release their 4th CD “Angel Station”
This was followed by extensive touring again around Europe and the USA.

The US tour was documented in the live CD release “Live 1999”

Here is a nice interview from that time (1999) by Richard Boon in Puncture magazine

As well as being special guests at Merge records 10th anniversary festival in North Carolina, Spaceheads continued to tour Europe and added Greece to the long list of countries played. They released a single in Greece on popart label

In 2002, they released their next studio album “Low Pressure” with Merge records again and the Bip Hop label in France. They also completed another 3 week west coast tour of the US sharing the bill each night with their friends “Drums and Tuba”
